Every year I choose a theme for our Christmas wrapping. I love the way our Christmas tree looks when all the packages underneath share a theme. In the past I’ve done plaid and solids, snowmen, penguins, candy canes, rustic, red and gold, blue and white and more.  My family plays along and wraps their gifts in whatever paper I’ve chosen that year.  This year I chose a chalkboard theme.  My husband and son are both artists and got really involved participating in wrapping.   It turned out to be a really fun way to spend time together.  Each package had its own unique piece of artwork.  It did, however, take a bit longer to open the gifts on Christmas morning this year.
